Hi friends,
I
am Razia Sultana and it’s my joy to share my testimony with you all. I am
blessed to say what God has done in my life. I basically come from a
non-Christian background. My mother who is house wife has accepted our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ during her childhood. She is very prayerful and our family
got saved through her prayers. We, as a family got saved when I was doing my 12th
standard in 2004. At the end of my studies my mother prayed to God about his
will in my life. God clearly revealed to her, saying that I have to go to
Karunya University for my graduation. Obeying his word, my parents sent me to
Karunya and I had a very wonderful life there. I completely knew God only after
coming to this college. In the mid of my first year I got a phone call in my hostel saying that I was supposed to
meet Dr.Paul Dhinakaran regarding something. I was shocked and surprised to
listen to that. Immediately I was taken to the guest house near my hostel where
he was staying. As soon as I entered the room I was even more astonished to see
our late founder Dr.DGS Dhinakaran, who was sitting in a chair waiting to meet
me. After I went inside, even without my knowledge I started shedding tears and
telling all my troubles and situations. He drew near to me and kissed me on my
forehead and said that “Don’t worry my child, God s with you”. I was so happy
when I listened to that because I always thought that since I am not from a
Christian background, God won’t like me and etc. but he gave me an assurance
that one in a million we are his choice. He prayed for me and prophesied saying
that I would become just like him and I would have double anointing than he
has. From the very same day I started to pray more and asked God to use me. As
we all know that “whatever we ask in prayer, God will grant us”. That was the
turning point of my life. God anointed me, gave me Gift of tongues and used me
among my friends and even in the college. And going to the other side, prayer
cells were a blessing to me abundantly. Every message in the prayer cell was a
blessing to me and I was blessed more. Even in the college activities, God
enabled me to be a choreographer for 3 Christmas plays. This is a real
blessing. For the three years of my graduation I did not have a chance to participate
in any program but gradually God made me choreographer in the class, department
and then in college. I thank God for all those blessings. God enabled me to
come back to the University for my Post-graduation also. It ‘s all God’s grace
that I have studied in Karunya University. And now God blessed me with 3 job
offers in college as assistant professor. I thank God for all his Blessings and
favor.
Indeed one in a million I am His choice. During those 4 golden years of my life in Karunya I learnt a lot. In spite of being the youngest and pampered kid in my family and having never left home without my parents, I never felt home sick in Karunya. I used to depend on my parents for every small need. But I learnt to depend on Him and started believing that He is Almighty and there is absolutely nothing that He can’t provide. Prayer cells were ever open for me to run at any time of the day whenever I needed and indeed have changed my life a lot. I wonder where I would’ve been in the aspect of my
relationship with Jesus if I were not in karunya for those four years. I was able to talk to Him more as a friend. I have a phobia for Mathematics, or I would rather say it’s a nightmare. But only by God’s grace I was able to clear all my papers without a single arrear and I believe He has blessed my hard work. Apart from placement, I have been blessed with True friends, Caring seniors and loving juniors. Above all I have developed a very close relation with my savior. Karunya is a place of opportunities where I got a chance to utilize the little talent God has gifted me with. I have also been blessed with an opportunity to be a part of Jesus calls prayer festival team twice. Definitely Karunya is a home away from home. I will ever be thankful to God for choosing me to study in Karunya.
"All praise and glory to Jesus."
